Senior Engineer III
(QA)

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Cucumber/BDD frameworks or similar.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across web and API-based applications.

• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using JMeter or similar tools; analyze results and identify bottlenecks.

• Identify and test for common security vulnerabilities (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF) in coordination with the development team.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Define test strategies, plans, and cases from ambiguous or evolving requirements—bringing creative solutions to quality challenges.

5-7 years of professional QA experience in both manual and automation testing, with strong hands-on experience in backend API testing and automation frameworks.

​Must have:

• ​​Cucumber/BDD or comparable automation frameworks.

• Performance testing with JMeter or similar tools.

• REST API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.

• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).

• Software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with UI automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience with Django framework and React applications.

• Cloud testing experience (AWS preferred).

• Database testing skills (SQL query validation, data integrity, performance).

• Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills directed to technical and non-technical team members.

• Willingness to take ownership of problems and seek solutions to meet customer needs.

• Ability to apply creative problem-solving through ambiguity.

• Ability to work under remote supervision and with a minimum of direct oversight.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
